Description
Hushbutton PCI is an IP-addressable interface for control of up to eight Hushbutton MRA Microphone Rings.
Each interface comes with two snap track mounts.
The Controller can be powered three ways:
- PoE (power over Ethernet)
- PoE+ when more power is needed
- Directly by a 9 – 30 volt dc wall-wart or remote supply
PoE power and 9-30v power can be used together for redundancy and client peace of mind (thanks to diode-summing).
Power supply and cabling not included.
PCI also has a second power connector for daisy-chaining additional PCI’s, and remote-sensing terminals for dealing with the I-squared-R loss of a long power cable. If you don’t understand remote sensing and I-squared-R loss consider yourself fortunate.
There is a STAND-ALONE mode, which uses Hushbutton MRA Rings to mute local microphones without a connection to third-party audio or control processors. This requires our Hushbutton PCM Audio Isolator, sold separately.
Integration with third-party control systems is accomplished via TCP/IP and our documented control API. Open source AMX, Crestron & QSC control modules are available at no extra charge.

Device Discovery Tool
The PCI ships with DHCP active by default. If an IP address is not assigned by DHCP, the device assigns itself an address in the 169.254.0.x range. Use this free discovery tool to assign IP addresses and identify multiple PCI’s installed on the same network.
